Yu-Ann and Vikram in Bali

Wedding details for Yu-Ann and Vikram

getting to bali

Direct

Several major airlines (Singapore, Cathay Pacific, United, American, China Air) fly directly to Denpasar (DPS).

Major hubs around Bali

Both Singapore and Jakarta are major international hubs. If you are flying to one of these destinations, you may find it more convenient to use a budget airline (Air Asia) to reach Denpasar.

Visa on Arrival

For international guests, some of you may not require a visa (please check your country here). For those who do, we recommend you purchase a visa once you land in Indonesia. As of 2018, US citizens do not have to purchase a visa on arrival if you stay for 30 days or less.

Getting around in Bali

We highly recommend you use a Bluebird Taxi when traveling from their airport; other taxi companies may be less honest in their fares. Both Uber and Grab are also available in the more touristy areas. To rent a driver for the day, it typically costs ~45 USD. Other options include renting a scooter however Bali has some bad roads and we'd suggest you be mindful of the weather conditions prior to going down this route.

We and Chedi Club can help arrange transportation between hotels and to the airport. We can also provide recommendations for drivers if you would like to explore other parts of Bali.

Communication in Bali

For guests who do not have an international package to their plans, we recommend purchasing sim card plans at the airport (TELKOMSEL, Indosat, XL).
